Because the pilot sits well back (rear cockpit) the forward vis is not as bad as it might seem. The passenger in the front seat certainly gets the full benefit of the heater/radiator. Many Piets are built with horizontally opposed engines these days but it is nice to see the Model A powered units still flying and still being built. And that video of the Swedish Pietenpol really captures the charm of flying old planes. Thanks for the post and I think this was a nice thread drift.
