What sort of boat did you have ?

Thanks for asking. A Contest 46/48. Two lengths according to who you were negotiating with innocent

Close hauled in the Francis Drake channel, BVI's. Autopilot holding 38° to the apparent.

Marina, Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Did my longest single handed voyage from their to Key West in just under 48 hours with help from the Gulf stream.

Hula was a sloop built in 1993 with in mast furling, removable cutter stay and self tacking staysail when deployed. 150% Genoa provided most of the power. Autopilot and single electric winch at rear of cockpit allowed easy single handed sailing. Retro-fitted with factory sugar scoop stern prior to my ownership hence the two lengths.
