Ingenious stuff N22. May I ask what may seem like a dense question but why include the vent in the first place? Not wishing to appear rude or nowt but Shirley the point of the sidescreens is to reduce the gusts/wind (and I ain’t referring to the wind of the driver 😇). Nonetheless it does look an impressive piece of work sir!

The vent can be closed and would only be used when the roof is up allowing some fresh air in. It’s academic really as SWMBO has ruled that they shouldn’t have vents at all, hence the MK3 version to follow. I’m looking forward to the day it’s raining hard, we’ve got the roof up and she says that we need some more ventilation
