With the old forum software, there was a bug that would mess up gallery pictures if you tried to edit or add to them after posting. The bug still seems to exist after the upgrade, it might even have actually got worse because it seems to be catching more people now than it did before.

Do your original pictures end with .jpg or .jpeg? After adding them, did you try and change the post?
