Ibuprofen orally and the 10% Gell applied externally is keeping the pain away, unless I cough or breath deeply. So yesterday I drove to Prescott to take part in the "Thrill on the Hill" exercise.
Probably not what the Doctor would have suggested, but it was fine: once in the car it was remarkably comfortable.
Driving up the hill I found the corners a bit painful when sideways G was applied to me so my right side was pressed into the sear bolster.

Getting into the car with the hood up was another matter, but the downpour in the early afternoon meant that the return journey was mostly "hood up".
With some internal liquid painkiller (red wine) I slept well and it is clear that as the massive bruise comes out the pain level is less.
So tomorrow I'd driving to York, a business trip. I need the money to allow me to but toys....the toys allow me to enjoy life. Our retirement fund is tightly managed by the Financial Controller, A.K.A swmbo
