Just chatting with the good Lady HB about the Plus 6, as you do of course.
If we went for it, there is a degree of concern that it wouldn’t fit through the garage doors.
Thus we speculated whether a future Plus 4 version may be narrower but still retain the benefits offered by the Plus 6.
I.e.Auto gearbox, modern suspension, power steering, modern LED headlights, aircon, wider cockpit etc etc and a more powerful engine than the current 154 hp GDI. If it had all this and a price tag of, say, £60-£70k, I would consider putting my name down now for an order date in two years or so....just to keep Lady HB happy of course 😇
What do others think might be coming down the line?

I would have thought that unrealistic. The CX platform is a monococque structure made up of carefully sized parts. Making it narrower would effectively mean a new structure, pressings etc unless we are talking a few mm on wheels and wings. And how do you make it narrower and retain the wider cockpit?
