Getting the S1 out of the barn for Goodwood this morning, I found the battery flat as I had not properly plugged the charger in. So I decided to use jump leads off our VW. As I was about to start the car I noticed neat petrol gushing from the swaged fitting on the end of the stainless braided flexible fuel supply pipe running from bottom of the engine bay up to the engine. It was not at all obvious that there is any screwed fitting that could have worked loose and indeed where the petrol is leaking from other than around the swaged fitting somewhere. Has anyone else experienced a fuel leak in this area? Obviously reluctant to try starting the car in case of a catastrophe, so unfortunately now going to be heading for Goodwood in the Evoque.
