On my right hand drive S4 it's behind the dash on the left hand side if sitting in the car, don't know if on the other side for a US car. Probably a dash out job if it's in the same location, away from the car currently but might have some access from the side by unscrewing the trim?
Thanks for the info. I guess on my left hand drive S2, it should be located on the passenger's side (i.e. right hand side) behind the dash if you are correct.
May I ask how do you know about the location of this module on your S4? Did you have to remove the dash for another reason and incidentally noticed that the module was located behind the dash on the left hand side on your S4? Or did you actually have to change the module on your S4 in the past? If you had to remove the dash in the past, is it a fairly simple job or did it require significant amount of time?
