1969 for me when Peter Morgan and Maurice Owen engineered the Plus 8 from a Plus 4 chassis and produced a supercar performance car for very little money which will forever be an Icon.
The most exciting Era definitely the advent of the Aero chassis models which heralded the future and upset the old G&T brigade and of course they just happen to be V8 powered
