Mine has the protection film all over the leading surfaces - and looks fine. Except for the running boards, which, despite this careful owner, have scuffs that cannot be removed.
I haven't had occasion to try it but when I bought my Morgan from Melvyn Rutter he told me Brasso removes scuffs and scratches from the PPF.
