If you want to sit a little higher consider an AirHawk cushion

I had one from my scooter but lost it when I left it on the tonneau of my vintage car. If you want to reorientate you wheel spokes no need to drill new holes, disconnect the column under the cowl at the joint & turn the upper column 180deg.
