Couldn't agree more! I had the option last year - start saving for my Morgan and buy one in three or four years, or max out a couple of credit cards and take the plunge before I was too old or broken to enjoy (years of riding bikes has taken its toll!)
Needless to say, I went for the latter, just finished my first year of ownership and loved every minute
