I thought the last Bond Spectre was dreadful so I’m hoping for better
Casino Royale, the first Daniel Craig Bond (not the spoof) is my favourite Bond film of all time
Thrilling plot with real tension, a strong female character and a Bond that actually got hurt
Skyfall was pretty good as well but Spectre was dreadful in my opinion with comic book silliness. Not one shred of believability
Re Casino Royale I won't forget Craig talking to the bondgirl in the train compartment for the first time.
She: Rolex?
He: Omega!
That was so funny and against all the conventions of "subtle" product placement. This way Craig as Bond was introduced as a tough straight ahead guy who doesn't like gossip and calls a spade a spade.
