Asking your children what’s happening gets the media polling ethics involved and that is fraught with problems. If a pollster walked into a pub in a farm town in Texas and asked about Trump and Pelosi he would get a predictable response. The same could be said for walking into a pub in Massachusetts and asking the same question, the results would be predictable.
What seems to be lost on most folks is that they were not happy about one thing or another and they wanted change. Trump was the only guy that they though could achieve change since all the others running had been in the establishment for many many years and therefore were part of the problem just by being there.
History will tell the tale and the complainers about the current President will at the most have 4 more years to complain and then they can switch it back, maybe, if the people think the previous years were a good thing.
You all in England have a monarchy that has subtlety ruled for a very long time with Parliament trying to keep it all together. How’s that working out for you? Do you want change? How would you accomplish that change?
