Alexa and Siri have been purged from this house.
Even so, as Neil has explained in the past, Google will select advertisements based on information about you in the public domain, recent web searches and other stuff.
On my phone I use Duck Duck Go as a trouser: it confuses Google. It may appear on my iMac at this rate...


I installed it on the iMac and the next day deleted it.
It seems to favour US based organisations when searching, to the point that it is unhelpful.
As an example, I was searching for QUAD HiFi. The website is www.//quad-hifi.co.uk.
DDG simply couldn't find it....
