First time attempt uploading pics so fingers crossed. These show my home brewed bonnet stay arrangement using 6mm rod end bearings and QM5 quick release spring loaded ball joints from Bearingboys. Plus 6mm aluminium rod and some fabricated aluminium brackets. Once in place the ball joint fixes firmly to the rod. Total materials cost is less than £20 a pair.
