Also a car with traction control and abs doesn't necessarily get you out of trouble ....
I've just had a fun few days driving Audi S4's on a huge frozen lake in Finland, the first thing you do before hitting the ice is turn off the ESC. 350bhp and 500+ ft lbs makes for interesting handling. Granted it is not on the road, but it's all about driving to the conditions and vehicle capabilities.
