I see yesterday that Sellafield has sent many of its staff home due to a member of staff having the virus. They are starting to shut down most of the operations there for safety reasons. I know it’s not a generating facility but it does beg the question about the nuclear power stations and what happens if staffing levels drop to the extent that safety is compromised and they have to shut down. Tim’s our expert on here...it would be interesting to hear his views on maintaining power supplies.
With car manufacturers etc closing down production for example, perhaps the demands are dropping.
