Paul, did you actually get to drive a 'Bug' ? I have forgetten what mine cost to insure 'Third Party Only', but believe me the Broker was doing you a favour - They were 'lethal' and had a tendancy to 'flip -over'; being 'Fiber Glass' that was the car written - off, not to mention the driver. Cann't remember how long I had the car for, certainly not long, and for most of the time it was 'Parked - Up' waiting for a buyer! To scared to use it after a 'near thing'!
No Brian, conversion won't be fitted until after the engine etc., warranty expires. I also need to get the car transfered over to French plates first. Even with a 'Conformity Certificate' new Morgans without Air Bags have to be inspected by the Department of Mines before they can be 'transfered over'
