Fibre glass not necessarily a bad thing – it is what they make skid lids out of, after all. When my first one was written off – glancing blow in the side – the door and side panels disintegrated, spreading out all the impact but leaving me unharmed (if not a little miffed) with an side-mounted sun roof! I did wonder about taking off the rest of the top, and just turning it into a trike, but bottled out in the end.
