On famous chefs have you eaten at any of Rick Steins restaurants, I've always loved his classic style of sea food..
We had a holiday in Cornwall last year and of course, the usual visit to
Rick Stein's 'Seafood Restaurant' had to be on the itinerary. Still excellent, and as you can see from the website he has almost taken over Padstow - the locals now call it Padstein!

It's a bit of a trip down there (circa 220 miles from London) and the traffic can be horrendous, but worth the trip I think as the countryside in Cornwall is stunning.
If you go to Padstow, you have to visit St. Ives as well and the Australian Chef at the
Porthminster Cafe is excellent too! Try Jamie Oliver's
Fifteen Cornwall on the way for breakfast or lunch!! If you need hotels, we have a couple that we use that are excellent. There's also plenty to do locally, as St. Ives is a noted centre for artists and there are many galleries and craft shops, including the
Tate St. Ives.
Cheers
