“Excuse” hints at a justification for bending the rules?
Will the excuse be a drummed up silly reason at justification?
I will use the Morgan for our shop this week. First time on the road for a month. Direct journey 3 miles each way with no detours. Plenty of room for the shopping items needed.
I have walked to the shops last year but not carrying any bags back. The walk took an hour through open areas along the coast road. A month is the longest the car has not been driven as I set a 2 week limit to keep things moving.
I do wonder at some peoples attitude to essential journeys being extended deliberately just for the sake of driving.
There is no real difference to using the Mog over the tintop for a true essential journey.
