Going away from the music side of things (being fairly tone deaf I gave up trying to play the guitar donkeys years ago) but still on activities, there is a bit of a push in amateur radio to find alternatives to operating from mountain / hill tops etc. The activity is Gardens on the Air and our local radio club decided to have a bash, I think I might have a few too many portables, but it was a bit of fun for an hour or so (particularly the sausage roll mentioned earlier!)
