Philippo....MP's pay and expenses aren't under their control but are decided by an independent body (this was set up some years back after a scandal involving MPs and some of their expenses ) .... they have £10,000 available to claim from to cover expenses involved in working remotely during the pandemic .... we have no idea how much (or even if any) of this money has been claimed ....but knowing the level of hostile scrutiny and the very bad PR associated with the cash I guess most won't touch it with a six foot pole ....or if they do will have cast-iron reasons and receipts for doing so.
