Drive both.
I have a 3l Roadster & prefer it to the 3.7l because :-
1. There is more room for your feet which becomes more noticeable on long drives. The 3.7 has a wider gearbox tunnel.
2. The speedo is in front of you. The 3.7 uses Mustang instruments & the speedo is off to the left. The 3.7 has so much power it is easy to slip over the limit.

But I do like the extra power & am ambivalent on the 5 link suspension. It lets you lay down the power but I am not sure it is better if you have anti tramp bars & a panhard rod. For me it is too much like a modern car. But each to his own.

I had a 1997 T16 engine plus 4. a very nice car but it misses the acceleration & speed of the Roadster. I prefer the Roadster as it is a great tourer. I haven't driven the 2019 +4.
