Jens .....had never thought of the 2cv as a classic but I suppose it would fit by age and quirkiness .... will have to add my Dyane to my list .... a 2cv in a posh frock .... great car ....wife and I drove it down from Yorkshire to Morocco...Marrakech, over the Atlas mountains and out into the Sahara and home .. never missed a beat

Doh ! I completely neglected to mention my 2CV too. I had a 1972 2CV4 when I lived down in the SW of France in the early 90s. Great little car for the fairly rustic way of life we had down there . The chassis buckled from too much driving up and down unmade roads; the local garage swapped it over for a second hand chassis for £400. It also survived an engine bay fire when a petrol line split; a passing farmer had an extinguisher in the cab of his tractor and we got the fire out before it had done too much damage.
