Watch out Nico, there is some miss-information in this thread. No one's fault, it's just that the accepted best-practice way of doing things has changed over the years.

Therefore, there is no need to strip out the seats and rear bulkhead to change the BB oil. The above photo shows how you access the drain & fill ports on a car not fitted with the NVH kit. If your car is fitted with the NVH brackets then access to the ports is not easy. Personally I use a short 10mm hex bar in conjunction with a long 10mm spanner to deal with the fill plug.

The drain plug is 24mm. When draining the old oil out of the BB, I usually have the car raised on axle stands with the front of the car slightly higher than the rear. Then I lower the front so that the car is level for filling. From memory you will need between 300 & 400mL of oil. A Sealey TP6804 1ltr Multipurpose Mini Pump will make the job easier. Just pump the new oil in until it starts to spill out of the fill port.
