Some years ago this story of a new Aero would have got my blood pumping. But after my experience with my S5 which I recently sold, never again. I previously had an S3 and in my opinion it was a better car. You could use the boot (The S5 looks bigger from the outside but you actually get less in it due to the boot struts). There was a parcel shelf for more storage. I prefered the swooping rear tail lights and rear end than the bulbous rear of the S5 and the roof could be taken on/off in seconds (useful in the English climate) unlike the S5. Then there were the constant returns to the factory with the S5 for what seemed like endless faults (short on the windscreen wipers hence came on and could not be turned off at intervals, driver side window never sealed throughout ownership leaving a gap the wind blew through, front headlight did not work post delivery etc).
So, after 8 years of Aero ownership, I am now Morganless. Great company, but in my view the S5 was the poorest of the Aeros to live with, give me an S3 any day. None the less, long live Morgan.
Now, I have a brand new Porsche 718 Spyder sat in the garage......I just need the lock down to lift to put some miles on it.
Adios Morganeers, it's been.......fun (most of the time!) :-)
