So with nothing better to do I decided to have a look at my plugs. 2 and 3 were fine but No1 was quite corroded around the nut and no 4 very rusty - see photo.
This is on a car registered in Dec 2018 that has not yet done 10,000 miles.

So now I am going to make one of Themorganeer's covers, probably without the oil filler hole - if I ever need to put in some oil I will remove the cover.
