When I took delivery of my 2010 4/4 Sport in August of last year, there was a spanner and hammer in a zippered vinyl bag along with an aerosol can of puncture sealer, but no jack. I guess no spare tire (tyre for you Brits), no jack is the policy at MMC, weight savings for the Sport model.
The old hydraulic jack I use will not fit under the rear diff, so I use a piece of lumber across the rear frame to raise the back of the car to get jack stands under the axle I have taken the wheels off each time I grease the front. Good excuse to clean the wire wheels.
