My OEM pump failed at 2100 miles at 11600 ft on an exposed narrow mountain road, luckily I was going downhill at the time so coasted to a safe spot to await a tow home. Although it only took me about an hour to fit the new Wally pump it was much easier, cleaner and safer to do it in the garage.
