No, I was just hitting adaptive limits and taking awhile to start. Fuse was fine. As far as wires disturbed by replacing the pump, there is the harness inside the tank and the plug to the tank. You really don't disturb much by getting to the fuel pump. Pump was purchased through one of the companies someone listed in the thread. I am going to pull the pump in a bit, but the fuse is getting hot so my guess is bad pump.
Spent a couple hours fiddling with it. Ended up throwing the original land rover pump in. Still have the cel and starting takes noticeably longer, but I do not blow fuses. Defective pump like I thought. Gonna have to wait for a replacement.
