My S1 came with the RTCC remap.
I'm not sure whether it's worth keeping or whether the standard map would be the same apart from additional performance. I have the quad exhausts.
These are my observations :-
1. Quite a flat spot midrange.
2. Ammonia smell from Cats. Perhaps working harder as a result of remap?
3. Might be affecting engine management light.
4. Engine seems to be running hot. Temp gauge fine but always seems to be overcooking under bonnet, always smell of burning something.
5. Is S1 still sub 5 with standard map?
It's possible that the remap has nothing to do with the above but would be great to get feedback.
