If I understand then everything is ok except the hazard lights. Looking on the GoMog site wiring diagrams 1998/2004 4/4 percent it seems there are two Hazard Light relays
Elec DiaIs the problem here?
What is on the diagram and what is in my car appear to be two different things. I had a look behind the dash. There is only one relay (for wash/wipe). The hazard warning switch on the other hand has seven connections to it so i wonder if the relay is combined with the switch. I have eight pins on the hazard switch with connections of the following colours: R/W X 2, G/N, G/K, P/R, G/W X 2, G, G/R. (i.e. seven connections). There are two tiny electrical devices (the diodes you mention?) soldered across two pins.
Why would the wiring diagram show two identical relays side by side?
There are two large black boxes. One has no markings on it but has the following coloured wires coming from it; W, B, U, R, O/G. Any ideas what that is? There is also a large black box with a label saying something like Morgan Dashboard Control (I can't tell you what wires come out of that as I have put it all back together and pushed it back in the garage whilst I get on with other jobs).
I have just pulled the switch and connectors apart. Nothing looks wrong with either component. Having put it back together and switched it on the 10a fuse has immediately blown.
I've run out of ideas but thanks everyone for the suggestions.
