The insurance adjuster checks for everything on a vehicle if they can reduce a claim they are doing their job.
I had a no fault accident I had put new tyres on the car three weeks before,I was ask to produce and invoice to prove I hadnot replaced them after the accident !
Think about what you are suggesting ,I could put a high power engine in my Morgan without uprating the brakes etc and hope the insurance will pay out?
