Peter, thank you very much as this is very timely for me as I have been wanting to change the suspension set up on my Plus 8 (being one of the last 50 run out models) as I too have found it too firm. Bell & Colvill did contact the factory for me to find out if it was possible and were told it would be possible to fit the adjustable dampers front and rear from the Aero GT. I was quoted GBP1,177.63 in total for the parts, labour of GBP542.64 to fit the dampers and labour of GBP271.32 to set the ride height and damper adjustment, including rebound settings, making a grand total of GBP1,991.59. All figures quoted include VAT.
Now I just have to decide whether to go with the factory dampers or the SSL/Librands set up. As long as the latter doesn’t invalidate the warranty on the car, I may go for that given your glowing review.
