RIP Quentin

The way elements of the MSCC Committee behaved towards Q was one of the reasons I felt unable to continue as Vice Chair, to the irritation of many who felt I was "letting the side down".
With my 20/20 hindsight I should never have stood, temperamentally I am unsuited to the sort of management role expected by MSCC.
I never met him, now I shall never meet him: that saddens me.

Well said Peter.
I can remember having a long conversation with Quentin in June 2015, at Llangollen about this.
He and Ann were deeply upset and felt betrayed by the MSCC.
It was therefore with great delight when he told me of his plans with Vinmog.
With Vinmog, we saw the old Quentin back.
So thank you Russell for being such a friend to him.
We last saw Quentin at Montlhery last year. So happy memories of a dear friend.
