I would support all that has been said my 97 +4 has plenty of power & torque.
The ride is fine and the Simmonds hood excellent , better than my MG or Triumph Spitfire.
I regularly drive from Bucks to Devon or Wrexham in it.
Avoid M ways take the back roads & you will grin from ear to ear.
