Just my two cents, I'm off the market. I would strongly recommend anyone making such a large investment to test drive both cars thoroughly.
I believe that for the manual transmission the physical action speaks for itself, something most of us would not want to miss. We project our old expectations and habits onto the new car.
But...if, for example, for reasons of emissions or fuel economy, the manual gearbox should be extremely long, which some reviews suggest, then it is definitely no fun at all. Then you end up using two, three of six gears on the country road.

My feeling tells me that the automatic version of the Plus Four could fit very well because the engine is more lively and has shorter gears. So that the automatic doesn't shift around hectically and stupidly, you can drive in control mode with the shift paddles.

Just because the Plus Six puts too much on us or itself, this doesn't have to be the case with the Plus Four as an autobox. My intuition tells me it could be the better choice than the manual transmission. But as I said, I would definitely test drive both cars.
