The latest programme featured a Fiat 500 which the owner paid a lot of money for at auction and then spent a further £17K to convert to electric.
I am amazed at the competencies or should I say incompetencies of the so called mechanics in the process of conversion. No safety glasses worn whilst grinding, the crude way a second hole was cut in the body and then the very amateurish way an adaptor was fitted, removed and butchered to fit the motor made me cringe. You would expect the company to have a small lathe at least?
The original aluminium Fiat badge was slung so a shiny repro could be fitted.......Mmmmm
I’m still not convinced!

As observed in their workshop at the end of the programme a Gordon Keeble was in evidence. I just hope and pray they don’t convert it. That would be like fitting a plastic stock on Purdey shotgun.
