My name is Ray Bates living in Vermont USA, a expat from Edinburgh. I recently bought a barely used 2017 M3W with 1,200 miles on it. Not a scratch on its all black body. It was a compromise as the closest I could get to a motorbike without getting a divorce. It's a sweet machine and an attention getter. An even better Chick Magnet than my Corgi!
It's too cold in the Vermont winters to ride a fair weather vehicle like this so I laid it up until May. It now has 1,440 miles on it so I have not been able to drive it much, a couple of broken ribs having set me back a little. A friend drove it recently and I was the passenger. He was thrilled to be allowed to drive it. However on the return from our short trip the check engine light came on.
I need diagnostic tool to determine the problem since my nearest dealer is a long way away in New York State. Also, does anyone know where the diagnostic device plugs into the S&S engine?

You need to download Protune from the S&S website
https://www.sscycle.com/flat-track/support. You need to plug into the ECU, this is hidden behind and underneath the fuses on the right looking from the front of the car the port is mini USB and is under a plastic cover held on with 2 small screws. You are looking for this
