No question about it guys, the original battery is not up to the job for the Aero 8 and for sure needs regular conditioning.

I've just replaced mine with a US made Odessy: www.odysseyfactory.com

It's a dry unit that fitted and looked the same size and shape as the original. But as you will read on their site their batteries have more cranking power for longer and obviously they can't leak either.

Mines been in a couple of months now, but so far no worries, only downside is of course they are considerably more expensive, mine was £150, but what's that compared to being stranded by the roadside?!

P.S. I still condition it whilst it's in the garage.
