Sorry to hear this terrible news.
My family lived for five years with the dying.
We had to accept that life is not fair.
Try to help each other but accept that you also have the right to be weak!
I have noticed that in Germany there are institutions / persons etc. who have a lot of experience with dying. Perhaps in GB are also such opportunities.
Try to speak - if you are able to do this. But I am sorry to say that you have to find your own way.......
