Very sorry to hear your news Bob. It is a shock, even when expected.
I'm a bit of a lurker here but enjoy your contributions. I think you wrote a helpful reply to me once.
I am 9 months ahead of you, having cared for my wife for 3 years (not cancer). We are all different but the best advice I have had is to live in the present, be gentle with yourself and try to eat and rest. Don't feel bad for being "weak", or for smiling and laughing (if you should happen to feel that way). It is a long road with ups and downs along the way.

Thank you David. That's the way I am trying to go. At least she no longer has the excruciating pain that the opiates didn't seem to touch. I'm glad to be of some use to someone here on this forum and thank you the compliment.
