One of the lads I was on the spanners for a couple of years ago ran a 2.1 Pinto which was absolutely shagged but still knocked the power out. It breathed a bit heavy though probably half a pint on a stage
The queue for a stage start saw the co driver get out, open the bonnet, remove the catch tank, open the boot, tip the oil back into the dry sump tank, refit the catch tank and close the bonnet, whack the pins back in and get in ready for the stage start!
