. They obviously sent you both parts.
When I did mine, I slid the green pieces up each cable first, to keep them well clear of the metal prong.
Next, I Crimped and Soldered each prong onto each cable.
I also Fitted the yellow piece in place in the Socket next.
Then I fed each leg through its correct hole making sure 'live to live' when connected to the female socket.
Then I pulled each leg into place with the pliers until they clicked home.
Lastly I push fitted the green pieces into their tubes in the body of the socket.
I also would be interested to know if that is actually the correct process to use.
