I have not used it in my front tyres but as Rog G says, the instructions say it can be used. I am a bit concerned about balance with the front wheels.
It doesn't seem to make a noticible difference to the balance of the fronts, however when I had new tyres I had to have new tubes as well as the electronic balancer couldn't handle it.
