Safety rulings are for the most part I suspect entirely reasonable and understandable for the average modern car. However with Morgan, the classic old style body shape alone, irrespective of the high tech it's covering, is more than enough to place it in any entirely separate and near unique category. I believe its this fact that is at the crux of matter, placing the need for old style fittings outside the one size fits all rulings.
