One memorable event was a screening of the old silent classic vampire flick 'Nosferatu' at the Music Hall in Aberdeen ..... with a live pianist improvising the soundtrack non-stop for the entire length of the film .... as a musician I was well impressed!

I remember those magic slots I think there was one for each type of seat possibly three although that is a bit vague now, little boxes of Poppets could be purchased from the tray lady I seem to remember.

Now the pianist playing along ad lib really is a talent that I would have put many years before your time Keith.
