Mixed views on this. When using the gps and riding my bike, I always put the screen in the topbox and listen to voice commands by blue tooth to my helmet. Far less dustracting than looking at a screen and in any case I have been well trained into following directions from the passenger seat. Bit like they taught me in the Navy, with an aye aye maam and a repeat of the instruction.
That said I would expect any attempt to outlaw Tesla controls to come from Germany
